Lismore Syrah 2011 90 Points

Maiden vintage and Greyton first Syrah/Shiraz, made in a Southern Rhone style, shows similar quality conscious as it’s white wine siblings, unshowy, delicately spicy and peppery with perfectly ripe crunchy wild red fruits, subtle “oxidative “ oaking, bright freshness makes this a food wine by excellence,
Great potential for development over the next five years, will develop more nuance, a producer to watch and support.
